Prewalker II Velcro

undgaard Prewalkers are perfect for the children who have started to practice walking. If the child can take a few steps while holding hands with mom or dad, or even stand on their own, wearing a prewalker can be very helpful.

It is an absolute classic shoe that has assisted many generations in taking their very first steps.

It is a cute, little handmade shoe that fits snugly on the foot and provides good support around the ankle, giving the child the best possible conditions for the very first steps. 

Note: it is important that the child also walks in bare toes or in non-slippery socks. The combination of a prewalker and bare feet is optimal.

Bundgaard prewalkers are produced in super soft and lined with vegetable tanned leather. The rubber sole is supple and flexible, and our Prewalkers are part of the "Bundgaard Zero Heel" collection*.   

Intended for indoor use.

- Fit: Wide, but with good adjustment possibilities and a slim slug and back counter that secures a perfect fit for both narrow and wide feet
- Removable insoles make it: 

• Easy to check if the size is correct -- both at purchase and continuously during use. NOTE: Small children bend their toes and will therefore not feel when the shoe is too small
• Possible to aerate and dry the soles
• Easy and fast to clean the inside of the shoe

- Soft padding on the collar is added for extra comfort
- Extra leather on the toecap protects against wear and tear when the child crawls, and the toe reinforcement protects the small toes from shocks and ensures room for movement
- The leather makes the shoe extremely breathable and ensures a good foot climate
- Super soft and flexible shoe with freedom of movement for the toes
- The velcro-closure makes the shoe easy and quick to get on and off. The velcro-straps can also be adjusted and shortened, securing a perfect fit for each child's foot


CARE

It is recommended to always impregnate shoes both before and during use, to avoid dirt, grease and liquid penetrating the leather. Please always choose the impregnation product carefully - especially for Prewalkers. We use "Organic Protect & Care" from Collonil, as the product primarily contains natural substances which means that there is no need to worry if the children put the shoes their mouths. 

Leather is a natural material and each product is unique. In time, the leather may look a little dry or tired, and need a little care. Start by wiping the shoe with a hard-wrung damp cloth and allow the shoe to dry.

Then use shoe polish or leather grease. When the product has dried completely, the shoe can advantageously be impregnated again. Please repeat regularly.

Bundgaard Zero Heel is a collection characterized by thin and flexible soles. This increases freedom of movement and gives a good sense of the ground. The soles are flat without heel drop -- a non-elevated heel. The main idea behind this collection has been to create minimalistic styles where the sole purpose is to protect the foot against the outside surface.
